Goodwill Industries of Kentucky has been overwhelmed by the generosity of its donors since reopening all 66 of its Kentucky retail locations and donation centers on May 20.
The nonprofit has taken steps to sanitize all donations prior to placement on sales floors, among other increased health and safety procedures. It also offers donors the choice to drop off items themselves or have a Goodwill employee unload items for them.
WTVQ in Lexington recently interviewed Mapleleaf Goodwill Store Manager Amber McBride about donation levels and how Goodwill has kept its customers and donors safe during the pandemic.
