The Legacy Foundation of Kentuckiana awarded Goodwill Industries of Kentucky a $50,000 grant to support the Work Ready Certificate program, a job-training program for justice-involved individuals reintegrating back into the workforce.
Goodwill was one of 25 nonprofit organizations to be awarded a grant from the Legacy Foundation of Kentuckiana, which is dedicated to the physical, emotional and spiritual health of the six counties it serves: Jefferson, Shelby, Bullitt, Hardin and Nelson in Kentucky, and Clark in Indiana. The Legacy Foundation of Kentuckiana’s most recent gifts totaled $2.9 million.
