Another Way, a Goodwill Industries of Kentucky program that provides individuals with visible needs opportunities to gain job skills and work-based learning opportunities, was recently featured by WLKY News in Louisville.
The program offers up to 22 individuals the opportunity to work five hours and earn $50 compensation for their time every day. Engagement and relationship building takes place as workers and staff work together and share lunch. Individuals return to Goodwill’s Opportunity Center at 909 East Broadway, where they will have the opportunity to address barriers and connect to both internal and external resources.
