The core of Goodwill Industries of Kentucky’s mission is helping those most vulnerable on their way to self-sufficiency. This primary goal is the reason Goodwill, as a result of a years-long search, has pegged West Louisville as a location to expand its headquarters and services.
The nonprofit announced in late April the purchase of a 20-acre property at 28th and Broadway in Louisville, to house its administrative building and education and employment opportunities. Any further plans have been paused indefinitely as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
