Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is again welcoming in-person appointments at its Centers for Education & Employment, the key facilitators of its mission to provide job-readiness training and career-path advice to those in need.
Career coaches have offered virtual services to program participants during the COVID-19 pandemic have followed social distancing guidelines – and many other health and safety guidelines – since reopening its physical locations on June 15.
Vice President of Career Services Marsha Berry recently detailed the reopening of Goodwill’s Centers for Education & Employment on WTVQ’s Good Day Kentucky in Lexington and WHAS’ Great Day Live in Louisville. Watch the segments below:

This year, our Centers have assisted 1,173 in earning Work Ready Certificates through Goodwill Works. Career coaches have placed 906 individuals in full-time jobs, with Goodwill or elsewhere, earning an average wage of $12.14 per hour, up from $11.70 in 2019.
