LOUISVILLE, KY. – Goodwill Kentucky held a grand opening celebration for its newest retail store and donation center in Valley Station on December 12, 2025, expanding its mission to help Kentuckians find pathways out of poverty.

The new store, located at 6204 Willismore Drive and open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day, provides job training, employment services, and shopping opportunities to patrons and potential Goodwill Kentucky clients. The store is conveniently located behind Cracker Barrel, with easy access by turning onto Bethany Lane from Dixie Highway. It includes more than 9,000 square feet of sales floor area, offering a wide variety of gently used clothing, home goods, electronics, and more.

“We’re excited to expand our presence in the Louisville area, bringing new opportunities for community impact,” said Amy Luttrell, president and CEO of Goodwill Kentucky. “Each purchase and donation made at this new Valley Station location helps support Kentuckians who are working to overcome barriers to employment and build better lives for themselves and their families.”

The Valley Station store also serves as a donation center, providing a convenient location for community members to drop off gently used clothing and household items. Revenue from store sales directly supports Goodwill Kentucky’s mission programs, including job placement, education initiatives, credentialing and training, reentry support, and more.

With this latest addition, Goodwill Kentucky now operates 68 retail stores statewide, all dedicated to funding life-changing services that help Kentuckians achieve self-sufficiency through the power of work.
