LOUISVILLE, KY. – Goodwill Kentucky officially cut the ribbon yesterday on its newest retail store and donation center, marking another milestone in the organization’s ongoing mission to help Kentuckians find pathways out of poverty.

The new location, situated at 10230 Westport Road in the Frey’s Hill Shopping Center, features a 6,770-square-foot sales floor and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The store offers affordable shopping options while doubling as a hub for connections to job training, barrier-reduction services, second-chance employment, and more for individuals seeking self-sufficiency.

In addition to retail services, the Westport Road location functions as a donation center, providing a convenient drop-off point for gently used clothing and household items. Donors may also choose to visit Goodwill Kentucky’s nearby Attended Donation Center, located at 9403 Westport Road.

Revenue generated from store sales directly funds Goodwill Kentucky’s mission programs, including job placement services, education initiatives, credentialing and skills training, reentry support, and more.

“We’re proud to bring this new location to the Westport Road community,” said Goodwill Kentucky President and CEO Amy Luttrell. “When people shop or donate to Goodwill Kentucky, they’re directly supporting life-changing services that strengthen individuals, families, and our entire community.”

With the opening of this newest location, Goodwill Kentucky now operates 70 retail stores statewide, all dedicated to creating opportunities and delivering life-changing services for Kentuckians in need.
