Goodwill Industries of Kentucky Senior Compensation and Benefits Manager Joy Gibson has been named to the first cohort of the Alice Houston Women’s Leadership Program, a new offering from the Leadership Louisville Center.
Gibson will join 41 other Louisville-area leaders in the cohort, which will aim to accelerate and sustain the growth of mid-level women leaders into positions of influence. The program begins in February and ends in July 2023. It’s named after female executive and community trustee, Alice Houston, co-founder/owner and former CEO of HJI Supply Chain Solutions.
The 42 members of the Alice Houston Women’s Leadership program will be mentored by a new women’s leadership council, Elevate, which consists of top-level women leaders in the area.
Gibson, who joined Goodwill in 2005, has a Master of Science degree in human resources leadership and has earned the HRCI Professional Human Resources and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designations.
