Business First recently announced that Goodwill Director of Development and Community Engagement Martha Stephenson will be among 40 community, nonprofit and business-leading women to take part in the annual Bizwomen Mentoring Monday.
Bizwomen Mentoring Monday is an annual networking breakfast that connects professional women in the region. Business First has selected the most influential women to represent a cross-section of important Louisville area industries, from small-business owners and bankers to attorneys and executives, at some of the most powerful companies and nonprofit organizations. The one-of-a-kind event will take place in 43 Business Journal markets on the same day. This means at least 200+ women will be coached in every market or 10,000 women across America, from Albany to Hawaii.
“I can’t wait to connect with the area’s up-and-coming influencers,” said Stephenson. “I am always thrilled to give back to the community, share what I know and help mentor tomorrow’s leaders.”
Martha Stephenson is the Director of Development & Community Engagement for Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, where she leads statewide philanthropy and drives community engagement efforts for the organization. Prior to Goodwill, Stephenson worked at Presentation Academy as Director of Development. She is a 1996 graduate of Spalding University, a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Fundraising Executives of Metro Louisville and a 2018 graduate of the Center for Non Profit Excellence Leadership Program. Martha is dedicated to her family, faith and community. She is a member of a USTA tennis team and enjoys her role as a volunteer usher at Actors Theater of Louisville.
