Our plan to bring our headquarters and new “Opportunity Campus” to 28th and West Broadway in West Louisville is officially underway, as demolition of the old manufacturing plant that once inhabited the area began this past week.
The campus is designed to operate as a multifaceted resource center for individuals hoping to find services to improve their lives. In West Louisville, a higher-than-average percentage of residents are either unemployed or underemployed, among many other challenges.
Construction is slated to be complete in 2023. With plans of how to best serve individuals through our “Opportunity Campus” still coming together, we’re asking residents or members of businesses or organizations in West Louisville for their input. If you are a resident of West Louisville, have been in the past or a member of a business or civic organization in the area, please take a brief moment to complete this survey.
To learn more about our future West Louisville campus, watch or read this recent WDRB report, featuring our VP of External Affairs DeVone Holt and Tammy Hawkins, a member of the Parkland Business and Development Association. In line with our mission, in the story, Hawkins said our move to West Louisville, “(will) give people a second chance. You don’t get too may second chances.”
