The D’Angelo Russell Foundation will host its 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive Tomorrow, Saturday November 22, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Goodwill West Kentucky Louisville Opportunity Center (2820 W Broadway, Louisville, KY 40211).
This year’s drive marks a major milestone 4,000 turkeys will be distributed, ensuring thousands of Louisville families can gather around a warm holiday meal and experience the spirit of community that defines this event.
What began as a simple act of giving has grown into one of Louisville’s most impactful community traditions, uniting local organizations, volunteers, and families in service and compassion.
The 2025 Turkey Drive is presented in partnership with Kroger, Prayer Changes Things, and Goodwill’s Kentucky, each playing a vital role in bringing this initiative to life.
  • Kroger serves as the exclusive grocery partner, continuing its Zero Hunger | Zero Waste mission.
  • Prayer Changes Things is providing all the traditional Thanksgiving sides to accompany each turkey.
  • Goodwill Kentucky is hosting this year’s drive at their West Louisville Opportunity Center offering a welcoming space for families and volunteers to connect.
“Our goal has always been simple — to show love through action,” said Antonio Russell, founder of the D’Angelo Russell Foundation. “With the support of our incredible partners, we’re able to expand our impact each year and ensure that no table in our community is left empty this Thanksgiving.”
In 2024, more than 2,500 families received meals through the initiative. This year, the Foundation aims to nearly double that number  a testament to the growing power of collaboration and compassion across Louisville.
