On Friday, the University of Louisville School of Dentistry officially opened its clinic inside Goodwill’s West Louisville Opportunity Center on the Norton Healthcare Goodwill Opportunity Campus.
The clinic is open to residents of west Louisville and Goodwill program participants. The location will assist those with unmet dental needs and lack of or no dental insurance. The school enjoys a rich heritage in dental education and a reputation for clinical excellence that reaches back to the 1800s. It excels in offering hands-on, high-tech, community-focused experiences that develop tomorrow’s leaders in oral health care while addressing issues of oral health equity and access.
