On Monday, February 27, Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg and officials from Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, KentuckianaWorks, Louisville Metro Department of Corrections and the Office for Safe & Healthy Neighborhoods announced new grant funding for The Spot: Young Adult Opportunity Campus during a press conference at the Spot’s main office at 800 West Chestnut Street in Louisville.
The Spot offers free career resources for young adults ages 16-24 in the Louisville area. Mayor Greenberg announced a $700,000 grant to continue and enhance those services for Louisville-area youths. During the press conference, program participants shared their success stories.
