Goodwill Industries of Kentucky Director of Young Adult Services Nicole McGill and Community Engagement Coordinator Allison Heidrich have been named to the Ignite Louisville Fall 2024 class, a six-month program aimed at developing up-and-coming professionals in the Louisville area. They are two of 52 emerging leaders to be named to the class by the Leadership Louisville Center.
Ignite Louisville develops high-potential professionals with a curriculum developed by the Leadership Louisville Center and partners. The class gains hands-on experience and puts its skills learned through the curriculum to the test through the Ignite Louisville Challenge, which is an opportunity to work with a local nonprofit to solve problems and implement solutions for their needs. The class is broken up into teams that compete to make the biggest impact for their respective nonprofit, and the winning team earns a donation for their nonprofit, made possible by the Leadership Louisville Center. Since the first class graduated in 2005, Ignite Louisville participants have worked on over 170 projects.
